Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Will Christ Still Be God If America Falls?
April 03, 2009

Obama is certainly against the American Republic and so are a huge number of our citizens. There is growing unrest over the Obama imposed socialism. This could get real ugly. Will the peace be kept? Will there be another revolution as the haters of this Republic seek to destroy it? Will Christians still believe in Jesus when America is destroyed? Do they believe in Jesus today?
When all is gone and Christianity is frowned upon and worse, persecuted, will our idol of 'God And Country' transform itself into Freddie Kruger? Will we still believe in Jesus? Which Jesus? The One in the Bible or the one the Masons gave us, the providential civil god, the "In God We Trust" Jesus, you know the one on our money? That's right, our founders were sons of the Enlightenment and they were mostly Masons, not Christians. Some were Deists, some were Theists, some were Christians. God does not require men to be believers to lead a country. He doesn't require us to pick Christians for civil offices either. The founders were given great gifts of governance by God, whether they believed in Him or not. But they were not divine nor did they create a divine Constitution or government. But what they gave us was a great gift from God and we have benefited from it above all other citizens of this planet.
If under Obama, as it seems is happening, this gift will be destroyed or transformed into a national horror, who will be with us in our sufferings, when our idol is dead? Who will be there in our tears? When we are overwhelmed with hatred and anger towards those that hate this great Republic and Constitution and overturn it, who will be there in our fear and tell us again to forgive our enemies as He did on the cross? When we Americans no longer have the comforts that God has given through this Republic who will comfort us in the coming misery?
Our Savior came into the world in the flesh and felt our pain, sympathized with our weakness, took our sins and those of our perceived enemies and then stood in our place under the wrath of God as the only sinner there ever was, in order to make us children of God. Because of His substitutionary atonement, His crucifixion, we are given forgiveness and eternal life.
This Jesus of Scripture promised suffering to His disciples. All but one of the Apostles was martyred for their faith in Christ. Many of the early Christians were hunted and martyred. Many were used to light up the skies as human torches for the coliseum games that Nero loved so much. Great entertainment. Christians have suffered for the Name of Christ ever since. If his Prince did not hide him from the Pope, Martin Luther would have been killed. In the last century, more Christians have been martyred around the world than in all the centuries before put together.
But what do American Christians believe? Some have believed a lie. They worship a god called 'God And Country'. They believe they are here to moralize the nation. They believe we must elect only Christian leaders rather than look for people with gifts from God to govern. They believe that Christians should have a smooth life, problem free. They believe they can cease from sinning against God and their neighbor. They believe God wants them rich, or at least well off, they tithe after all, so they expect some pay back. Christians in America, unfortunately have fallen for a lot of deceptions, and have become more American than Christian. America is not God's special country, except that He has blessed us with the ability and resources to rescue others in all kinds of needs, far more than other countries. Somehow, we were derailed into thinking, a good, calm, cushy life is the Christian's normal life and part of our rights.
It's not.
We have been lulled into a delusion. And because of this delusion our love has grown cold for the true Christ, not to mention His people.
But there are storm clouds brewing.
Our mirage is lifting. Trouble is coming.
The American Dream may be outlawed. Free speech is under massive attack right now. Liberty is close to non existent. Capitalism has been declared the enemy by those that have benefitted from it.
Now we will be forced to remember who God really is.
Now, which Jesus died on the cross for your sins? Which Jesus will you claim when Americanism is outlawed? The 'God And Country' god doesn't exist. It is good in the civil realm to have a generalized national belief in 'god' for peace sake. But it is not our Savior. America is a gift we thank God for, without claiming they are one and the same or on equal footing or that we are owed it. Christ has Christians all over the planet and we pray for more, "Your kingdom come..."
Large portions of our family are being slaughtered as we speak. We may be next.
Resurrection of Jesus Christ.I love Thomas Jefferson's ideas of liberty and freedom and Republicanism. But Jesus died for my sins, not Jefferson. I thank God for our founders and what they gave us, and hope and pray our country will retain their gift. And I'm pushing hard to regain Jefferson Republicanism. It is a good civil government, but it doesn't save in the end. As far as their writings are concerned, Jefferson, Washington and many other founders were devoted to Masonry, not Christianity. Masonry is hardly compatible with the God of Scripture, it is in actually, at odds with Him. But they were instruments of God for our good, just Ahasuerus, Cyrus, and Nebuchadnezzar were. Unbelief has never stymied our Lord. He has been in the business of weaving our sin for His own ends and our salvation for many years.
We claim we believe "In God We Trust." It is even on our money. But it isn't true. If it were true we would be preaching Christ crucified for sinners instead of Americanism in our in our pulpits. A better translation of "In God We Trust" would be "We Are Self-Sufficient." But it is a lie, we are not. We have forgotten that Christ instructed us to pray for our daily bread. Americans don't. They have a full refrigerator. No need to bother God with all of that small stuff. We have it under control. Really?
No. Now things will change. Christ will make us remember who is the giver of all that we have. As our savings has been destroyed without even a tornado or flood we will remember who we belong to, we will remember who cares for us.
This Resurrection Day we will proclaim about Jesus, "He is risen, He is risen indeed." He worked for us in the past doing the dirty work of salvation by crucifixion, making sinners children of a holy God, and loving Father. And it is Jesus that is still working for us, keeping us through (not from) the storms of life, reigning over all of the world, as He remakes His creation marred by sin, bringing about the salvation of many people through the forgiveness He earned for us. Mankind's evil will not stop Him. He suffered the penalty for all of our sins including idolatry, and rose victorious from the grave conquering death. It is this Jesus that will be with us when our false security in a civil government is taken away. When we suffer under the coming tyranny in the civil realm, we will be reminded by Scripture that we are freemen in Christ. Though this veil of tears may get worse, His reign will be seen by all one day. The 'true' Jesus will keep us and will return one day for His Church and sin will be no more. Until then we say with St. John, "Come, Lord Jesus," soon.

Revised Famous Quotes.Someone once called Obama a 'Titanic figure'. Which makes us sad since we all
know how the Titanic ended up. But if you're one of the misfortunate ones to go
down with the ship, and wearing a really cool t-shirt, it may make you a real
legend in our time, a dead legend, but one with very good taste in clothes.
