Parents Used To Be Called Role Models

In a news report from Florida, parents were reportedly suing the school district for the failing grades of their children. That's wild. Since the parents have basically abdicated their authority over their children to the powers that be, that being the schools and the government, the parents of course are 'innocent' (in Obama-speak)in regards to their failing children. If parents had been parenting their children for the last couple of decades, this wouldn't be a problem. But they haven't been. They want the rewards of successful children, but they want others to do the dirty work.
Well, the dirty work hasn't been done at all. There is no discipline, by and large, in the homes or schools anymore. We have allowed the PCing of our culture to become pervasive and lethal. Schools rule the parents, instead of the proper model, the schools 'work for' the parents. The schools have been molding politically correct behaviors and mindsets, instead of teaching the basics that society needs to exist. These young people have been propagandized into mindlessness and listening to them speak is like entering the twilight zone. There appears to be no ability to use logic, and the dread of acquiring facts is palpable. It is as if a religion is being fostered on them and us, and the devotees must not deviate from any of the tenants of the faith, or face excommunication.
If parents did insist on standards with consequences today, they could be sued. Children can speak against their parents to school officials, and true or false, parents can be held accountable if it does not match their PC agenda, and their children can be removed from the homes. It is the parents of this country that have sat back and let this happen. They should have been fighting these abusive schools all along. They allowed themselves to be intimidated into silence. The very idea of 'tenure' is a crime against parents and children. In any other profession, you are critiqued, and graded. If you basically stink and put out a poor product, you are fired. But teachers are protected. What is the difference from these PC schools and the abominable Catholic priest scandal? The powers that be in both cases, shuffle the offenders around and protect them. And the children are harmed in both instances.
But for years the parents were happy to let the schools babysit for them and not tutor their own children. The parents have allowed the schools to bully themselves into submission. So they have blatantly given up their authority. Now their children are failing and they want to sue. Worse, the disrespect the children show for their parents, and everyone else for that matter, is atrocious. From vulgarity to violence, in words and actions, children and young people, find harming themselves and others, to be cool. They even make videos of their own abuse. Parents and the schools have no authority to do anything about it. "That's the way kids are today, you know." No, I don't know. But I do know that their parents have short changed their children on parenting. How could parents willingly raise such crude, obnoxious children? If either the schools or the parents try to correct this behavior, they can be reprimanded or sued. But the parents are the ones who, for decades, have let true parental authority decay in this country. Disrespect is king between both parents and children.
We have given our authority to the government and other institutions that are supposed to be under us. If we don't take it back, we are not protecting our children from destroying themselves or from terminal stupidity. The government does not know best, and neither do the school officials. They are human, and they can, and do lie. For too long we have 'felt' our way into mental paralysis. Goodness knows, it is anathema today to question someone's 'feelings'. Teaching children to question what their esteemed PC teachers teach will not cause their little heads to explode (although, many think that would be pretty cool to watch). Teachers and professors, by and large, push political beliefs rather than informing the students on the basics. Logic and reason are obviously discouraged.
Just look at this campaign season. The swoon that has taken place over Obama is stunning. Usually his speeches are banal and vacuous at best. When he does say anything substantive it is clearly totalitarian. And yet our young people are enthralled. This is scary. The children don't know much about totalitarianism. They don't know that the children and adults swooned over Hitler as he took their rights away, and Mussolini too. Oh, but those are facts and we've already established that facts aren't in vogue today. Yes, we have had decades of bad government, but if you want a totalitarian government it will get a whole lot worse. Oh, but he makes everyone 'feel' so good. "Hope! Hope! Change! Change!" "Whoh. Yeah man, that's deep."
Florida parents, and all parents, had better reconsider their God-given authority, and take back control and responsibility of their children. It is called love, and it is way past 'too late'.

Obama, Fathers and Abortion

Well, Obama's back in church again. Always good to show up on a day that Hallmark prescribes. We don't ever want to counter Hallmark. And we all know that Christ's death for sinners is no where near as important as the days that Hallmark has cards for, according to the sermons of most ministers anyway. They are days of obligation.
It is always good posturing these days also, to beat up men. They are evil, don't ya know. Ask any feminist. They make babies and then take off. That, unfortunately is true, way too often. They should be castigated for this. And it would be good if they could control their little friend more often then they do, or at least as often as they talk to it. But they don't.
Will Obama say anything close to this, to women? The men, after all, are not having 'air sex'. Obama said "any fool can make a baby." True enough. But that would apply to women as well as men. But, unfortunately, Obama will tow the party line on this one. Women are good, after all. Will he say to women, "any fool can spread them wide for any man." Will he castigate their irresponsible behavior? Their stupidity? Probably not. No, he will continue to tell women that it is okay to kill your children if they are a burden to you. He yells at men for not raising their children, and at the same time he wants the government (me and you) to pay for abortions.
Obama would never have the courage to preach real 'change'. He would have to go up against the all-good and omnipotent feminist culture that we have found ourselves in, not to mention his wife.
Now, we have a very big problem with the reasoning that has been inflicted on us from our favorite feminists. They want us to believe that babies are similar to a growth, or a cancer, something that 'our bodies' have developed, and we need to remove it. Unfortunately, babies are separate human beings that depend on their mothers for nurturing and protection. But then they are babies, what do they know. Their protectors turn out to be their executioners. And Obama is not only find with this, but wants me and you to pay for it.
If he really wanted to change the culture as he says he does, he needs to address the obvious, the truth...that sex outside of marriage, real marriage, heterosexual marriage, is detrimental to the health of the mother and the baby and all of society. It is destroying the culture and degrading human nature more and more each day. Oh, yeah, and I didn't want to forget to mention that it is sin against the Creator. Now, I do know that most people don't believe there is a Creator any longer, but He is real, and men and women are made in His image. While Obama is supposed to be a Christian, it is more like a small 'c' christian. It seems to be a kind of christian culture that believes in the supposed goodness of mankind. But we are not good. It is a myth. He and many in the country are engaged in rewriting truth to fit their situations and desires. But you can't change Eternal Truth. And God is not impressed with Obama's oratory skills or his reprimands either.
-We hear all of the time, "but we love each other, so it really is not a sin."
-No, it is a sin, and killing the baby that you produced is another sin.
-And demanding that the government (me and you) pay to kill babies for people that can't afford to pay for their own killing is another sin.
After all of these Hitlerish actions, we still insist on thinking that we are good. But we are not good, not even one of us, including holy Obama. Obama's trouble is that he wasn't taught and doesn't speak of true Christianity. Molding a well behaved society is a nice desirable endeavor but it isn't Christianity. It is simply social engineering. This is filling our pulpits today.
But the Scriptures do not wink at sin. The Scriptures teach that the Son of God came down from Heaven for us men and women, for our salvation. Christ died in our place, to pay for our sins, our horrid sins, including killing our children. We can't remove our sin, and we are not to deny it. We are called to confess sin and He is faithful and just to forgive us. This is why He came. He did not come to save good people, He came to save wretches. Me and you. It would have been better, if Obama mentioned this in the 'Christian' pulpit during his Father's Day appearance.
We can admit the truth, not Obama's truth, God's truth. Men are not the only sinners out there. Young girls and women are committing horrid sin too. They have bought a very bad bill of goods from our feminist friends. Parents should reject the nonsense that came out of the feminist revolution. Parents should buck up and parent their children again. Teach them that sex outside of marriage is wrong and harmful, and the guilt of killing our children will never leave us. Parents must recover from their neglect, and their phony philosophies and phony religion, and be parents again. Most of us today care more about the plight of polar bears than our own children (the polar bears can swim by the way). We have believed a lot of lies. P. T. Barnum once said, "There's a sucker born every minute." Wow! He must have been a prophet.
But we can recover, repent, teach the truth and give forgiveness to those that have done the unthinkable already. Truth be told, we all have a closet filled to overflowing with unthinkables. Thank God we have that sucker boarded up real tight.
The good news is that Christ died for real sinners. He knows what's in the closet and He forgives real sins.
